Imagery and Figurative Language

At first, I thought imagery was language that appeals to five senses, I learned that this was right. I also learned about figurative language. I used to think figurative language describes one in term of another and is not meant to be understood on a literal level, I learned this was right. The three main types of figurative language are similes, metaphors and personification
